2018 Bike Price Reduced by £500
Everything that Moustache produce is done with style and the Friday 27 captures that essence in spades. As the name suggests this is a casual bike for cruising around town – with ease and in comfort – and with that ‘Friday’ feeling.
This was a very popular bike in 2018 and as we move into the new season we have just one bike left, in a medium size. We have reduced the price to make way for more 2019 bikes. Now just £2399
All of the Moustache bikes are developed with hydorformed variable thickness, aluminium tubes. This means that the bike is strong in all the right places, while remaining light and streamlined.
Moustache were also the first manufacturer to integrate the Bosch batteries into the frame of the bike.
This bike is gorgeous to look at and we love it. Highlights of the bike include a Brooks leather saddle; super comfortable wide tyres – 2.35″ wide; a ‘Quick park stem’ that allows you to simply twist the handle bars 90 degrees and park the bike in a corridor, powerful Axa lights and of course the Bosch motor and battery. The tyres are extra wide ensuring comfort on the pot-holed roads of Surrey and even down tracks and tow paths.
It comes equipped with a kick stand, very effective front and rear lights that run off the battery and a rack equipped for the Ortlieb bags.
Bosch Drive System
The motor is the Bosch Performanceline Cruise – This motor provides 63 NM of torque and will assist you up to a level of 275% – that’s 275% of your input. About town this is a great amount of power and acceleration.
The responsiveness is breathtaking, giving back an exact amount of assistance according to the pressure you apply to the pedals, available from the moment you start pedalling, and changing several times a second to meet the precise power you give so you’re always in full control.
The battery that comes with the bike is the 400 watt hour battery. This will give a range of about 40 miles. That is a good estimate rather than a best case scenario that you may hear elsewhere. We can upgrade this to a 500 watt hour battery for an extra £200 – this will increase the mileage to about 50 miles.
