Everything that Moustache produce is done with style and the Friday 27 captures that essence in spades. As the name suggests this is a casual bike for cruising around town – with ease and in comfort.
All of the Moustache bikes are developed with hydorformed variable thickness, aluminium tubes. This means that the bike is strong in all the right places, while remaining light and streamlined.
Moustache were also the first manufacturer to integrate the Bosch batteries into the frame of the bike.
This bike is gorgeous to look at and we love it. Highlights of the bike include a Brooks leather saddle, super comfortable wide tyres – 2.35″ wide, a ‘Quick park stem’ that allows you to simply twist the handle bars 90 degrees and park the bike in a corridor, powerful Axa lights and of course the Bosch motor and battery.
Bosch Drive System
The motor is the Bosch Performanceline Cruise – This motor provides 63 NM of torque and will assist you up to a level of 250% – that’s 250% of your input. About town this is a great amount of power and acceleration.
The responsiveness is breathtaking, giving back an exact amount of assistance according to the pressure you apply to the pedals, available from the moment you start pedalling, and changing several times a second to meet the precise power you give so you’re always in full control.
Moustache are proud of how their hard tails feel against the ground, and we have to agree.
