Gazelle Orange C7+ HMB Step Through

Description

Our Most Popular Gazelle

This is our most popular Gazelle over the past few years and it is easy to see why.  Great quality that Gazelle our rightly renowned for, very comfortable, minimum maintenance and the Bosch motor. Gazelle bikes are renowned for their Dutchness – that very relaxed upright style that we call ‘sit up and beg.’

Ride like the Dutch!

This is one of our best selling bikes and certainly our best selling Gazelle. If you are looking for quality, comfort and low maintenance then Gazelle have all of this in spades. This one is the step through version. This is popular with both men and women for the simple reason that it is far easier to get on and off. We do stock the cross bar version as well.

Gazelle bikes are made in Holland and they have been making them now for over 100 years. They are the premium brand in Holland and have the honour of a Royal seal of approval, so their full name is Royal Dutch Gazelle. The Dutch consider their bikes to be more than just a leisure item; it is their primary form of transport and they build them to last with extensive testing carried out during the manufacturing process in their factory in Holland.

Bike Detail

The bike has an enclosed chain case making the bike almost maintenance free. It has  a bright LED front light  and a rear light at the back of the rack, both of which are powered by the battery. The bike is fitted with a Dutch style AXA rear wheel lock or cafe lock. This means if you are just popping to the shop, then you can use this simple lock rather than have to carry about a monster lock. However if you are leaving the bike for more than just a few minutes an additional lock is always advised. A plug-in  lock can be added as an option so that the bike can be secured to a stationary object.

The ride is even more comfortable because of the padded saddle and seat suspension post. Of course the comfort is enhanced by the upright position when riding that the Dutch are renowned for. In this position you can keep your back straight and enjoy the view. As the bike zips along at a great pace you just feel that there is no need to hurry, rather just relax and enjoy the riding.  The stopping power is ensured by the Magura hydraulic rim brakes that are fitted to a number of the best electric bikes.

This year the tyres are a bit wider than before at 42 mm. This is a welcome change making the bikes more suitable for towpaths etc.

The Dutch are rightly proud of their bikes and we are very pleased to have a dealership with their biggest bike company. The bikes are beautifully made for a nation that enjoys its cycling.
